Blue LanTeens Program Guidelines
The primary aim of Blue LanTeens is to provide a space for all its students to learn, share and grow together as conscious Muslims.
The community we are creating seeks to develop healthy connections, new friendships and provide a support network for all Blue LanTeen students and parents.
In order to meet the primary aims of the Blue LanTeens program, it is important for all students and parents to feel like they are in a safe place, surrounded by people who share the same goals and interests.
Therefore, we request you to read and adhere to the guidelines below before you join the Blue LanTeens program.
General Guidelines:
- Communicate with all Blue LanTeen students through respect, courtesy and kindness.
- Be tolerant towards other’s viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align with yours.
- Respect the privacy and personal information of other Blue LanTeen students and parents.
Please do not:
- Make personal attacks on other Blue LanTeen students or parents.
- Use defamatory or offensive remarks against any Blue LanTeen student or parent.
- Post discriminatory or inflammatory comments in any of the community groups or discussions.
- Share any personal or private information outside the Blue LanTeens community group, including names, student information, personal numbers, email addresses, etc.
Commitment Acknowledgment
- The parent acknowledges the importance of consistent education and the benefits it provides to their child's intellectual, spiritual, and personal development.
- By unenrolling their child prematurely, the parent understands that this may disrupt their child's educational progress and impact of their overall academic performance.
- The student also acknowledges the importance of attending classes, participating in homework, and meeting all academic expectations set forth by their teachers.
Early Cancellation Fee:
- In the event a parent decides to unenroll their child before the completion of the LanTeens academic year, they shall be responsible for paying an early cancellation fee of £200 GBP. This early cancellation fee reflects the costs incurred by the Blue Lantern Institute for reserving a place for the child, preparing educational resources, and allocating teaching staff.
Agreement:
By activating your profile and logging onto the community platform, you are considered to be in agreement with the terms and conditions listed above.
We appreciate your support and hope you have a positive experience with the Blue LanTeens Islamic Studies program.
